Cummings Construction is a full service General Contractor specializing in commercial construction, tenant improvements and facilities maintenance. Our 25 years of experience in all sizes and types of construction projects is a key factor in being able to provide our customers the best possible service. Our reputation is built on integrity, quality, timeliness and cost effectiveness.

The scope of our projects includes base building remodels, new store construction, store remodels, repair and maintenance. We have successfully completed over 300 new store projects ranging in size from 1,000 square feet to well over 60,000 square feet. The countless remodel projects completed range in scope from minor fixture swap outs to full interior alteration. Many remodels are completed as "open remodels" wherein we manage all trade work while coordinating with store management to maintain safe and efficient operation. Many of our clients find our ability to perform these open remodels our greatest contribution to their project. Our repair and maintenance projects range in scope from the repair of a loose door handle to repair of a major base building structural problem.

We perform a broad array of construction services for a variety of clients, some retailers, some facility managers, a few developers and property owners. Some of these services involve pre lease or pre purchase site inspections, design development, site progress inspections, permit expediting, budgeting, etc. For a number of our clients we work on a time and material basis and for a few we provide negotiated bids. The vast amounts of facility repairs we perform are on time and material since this is our client's most economical solution. We take pride in our ability to provide successful results for our clients and to develop long term relationships with them.

Cummings Construction has been in business performing the above services for over 25 years (started in 1977). Many of our clients, subcontractors, vendors and suppliers have been with us for over 10 years (a few for all 25 years). We are licensed to work in California, Nevada, Oregon and Washington. In 1999 we incorporated as Constructive Building Services, Inc with Cummings Construction as our dba, and we do business as JD Cummings Construction in Nevada.
